Oh. That was the last war...or maybe the one before that.

But what about ordinary people of good faith, who love their country, simply expressing an opinion that a particular war is not worth the loss of life? I thought that the soldiers were fighting precisely for our freedom to express that opinion. I'm pretty sure that it has been several wars since American soldiers were fighting for our right to express an opinion. In fact, I'm old enough to remember a time when the right to simply express an opinion was more than frowned upon.
